There’s a lot to like about this compact Prospect Heights one-bedroom, starting with the price: It’s asking $499,000, putting it firmly within the Six-Digit Club. It also happens to be one of the least expensive apartments listed in the neighborhood right now, according to StreetEasy.

And even though it’s not huge—it’s just over 600 square feet, per the listing—the apartment has plenty of nice features. The living room has a decorative fireplace with an elegant wooden mantel, and a long foyer connects the living area to the bedroom and the recently renovated bathroom. The kitchen also recently got a refresh, and has new appliances and cabinets, as well as space for a table and chairs. (On the downside, there aren’t a ton of windows in the place.)

The apartment’s location is also a plus: It’s in a co-op building on the corner of Vanderbilt Avenue and Park Place in Prospect Heights, putting it within walking distance of Prospect Park and a ton of other neighborhood amenities.

This cute co-op is listed with Compass’s Gene Keyser for $499,000, with maintenance coming in at $700/month. You can check out a virtual tour on Compass’s website.

The kitchen is big enough to qualify as an eat-in, with lots of storage space.
The bedroom has one window.
The bathroom was recently revamped with a new vanity and neutral tones.
Hardwood floors give the space a warm feel.
