Central Park’s Wollman Ice Rink Is Now Open
And so the wintry holiday madness begins!
As of today (Tuesday, October 22) Central Park’s Wollman Rink has joined the Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center in opening early for the season. Located at 59th Street and 6th Avenue, the rink has been around since 1949! Now open daily to the public until early 2020, the rink will also offer private sessions and classes like figure skating and ice dance.
The Wollman Rink will be open from 10am until 2:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays; 10am until 10pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays; 10am until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays; and from 10am until 9pm on Sundays. However, as Christmas approaches the hours will get longer (you can check them out here).
All are welcome to hit the ice for $12 per person (adults), and skates will be available to rent for $10!
