A few places worth peeking at if you’re looking to buy in the neighborhood

Welcome to ’s Open House Tour, because who doesn’t love a little real estate gawking? This time around, we’re looking at what’s on the market on the Lower East Side.

This weekend, you could peek inside this very cute one-bedroom co-op on Grand Street. It has a renovated kitchen, a relatively large living room, a dishwasher, and four closets (one of them a walk-in). It sits inside a building that has a gym, a common laundry room, and a bike room. It’s accessed through a private keyed elevator. It’s asking $2.05 million, with taxes coming in at $636/month and common charges $1,128/month.
